MVM New Zealand

PES was appreciative to have supported Mataura Valley Milk (MVM) on their newly built premium nutritional powders plant at East Gore, McNab, New Zealand.  The investment was envisioned to support the constantly increasing global formula milk powder demand, particularly the China market.

Our team was focused primarily on the management of the qualification of the entire facility, and validation of the plant manufacturing and cleaning processes in compliance with New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) and the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).  Additionally, we have implemented a full nutritional validation programme over the top of the regulatory requirements to ensure we meet MVM’s aspiration to exceed the requirements of their customers.

MVM is a joint venture between State-owned China Animal Husbandry Group (CAHG) and New Zealand Southland Dairy Farmers.
